Compensation:
Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience

Key Responsibilities of the Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster II:
Investigate claims thoroughly to determine compensability using all available resources.
Develop and implement effective claim resolution strategies, consulting management as needed.
Support safe and timely return-to-work programs, coordinating medical care aligned with accepted injuries.
Apply medical knowledge to evaluate treatment plans and resources.
Negotiate disputed claims and assist with minor litigated cases.
Maintain compliance with Claims Quality Guidelines, regulatory requirements, and licensing obligations.
Accurately set reserves and issue timely payments, including projected future benefits.
Identify and manage potential exposures such as Medicare early in the claim process.
Qualifications of the Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster II:
Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of workers’ compensation claims experience.
Strong knowledge of WC law, claims processes, and medical treatment guidelines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and a customer-focused mindset.
Reliable transportation for occasional local errands.
