Job Description

As a Security Professional Residential Patrol Driver in Ladera Ranch, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment within a residential community. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle while performing your duties. You will also be expected to respond promptly to any incidents, communicate clearly with both residents and team members, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism at all times. What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order throughout the residential community.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any suspicious behavior or potential hazards.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the residential location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and property management, providing assistance as needed while representing Allied Universal.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by site protocols.
• Follow all site-specific post orders and instructions to help support a secure environment for residents and their guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Must possess a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
